Lake Strom Thurmond, officially designated J. Strom Thurmond Reservoir at the federal level, and Clarks Hill Lake by the state of Georgia, is a reservoir at the border between Georgia and South Carolina in the Savannah River Basin.

  • As of Oct. 3 2019 when you try to "edit outline" the map takes you to the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. When you go back to the Lake on the Georgia / South Carolina line and make an "edit outline" and click "save" it reads "too far from original place". A problem only Wikimapia can fix.
  • As of Feb. 12 2020 it seems this place was deleted. But it is not on "deleted places" Why? I don't understand ? I was only able to access this, and leave this comment, through google search.
