Franjo Leder (1905 - 1963), Tuzla's the most famous sculptor, created or sculpted every major sculpture in Tuzla includins famous Statues (bos. = kipovi) of Tuzla's town bridge. Kipovi, each on four corners of the bridge, carry salt crystal on their shoulders, the symbol of Tuzla (turkish Tuz = Salt). Franjo Leder made The Disc Thrower and Leda and the Swan in Tuzla's Memorial Park. Every sculpture was his gift to the one and only town he ever admired and loved...
