FIRST OF ALL THE MAIN REASON OF ITS FAME IS THE DARBAR SHAREEF OF SATGUR BADSHAH,EVERY YEAR PEOPLE GATHER HERE FROM ALL OVER THE PAKISTAN ON 23rd MARCH.SECONDLY ITS AN INDUSTRIAL VILLAGE. THERE ARE MANY FACTORIES OF POWER LOOMS,PAPER MAKING AND DYING,AND THE LAST BUT NOT THE LEAST , THIS VILLAGE IS ONLY 2KMS FROM FAISALABAD INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, AND ALSO 2KMS FROM FAISALABAD MOTORWAY BYPASS.

Alhamdulilah its a very large village, people are very cooperative and brave. Its an industrial area and very beneficial specially for poor people. Most of all lover of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) are living there in majority.

  • Actually, Ch Rehmat Ali was born in Hoshiarpur, and his family emigrated to Lyallpur after partition. But I don't disagree that the name of the pind could be changed to osmething derived from Rehmat Ali.
  • Aslaamo Alaikum , dhandra jb 66 is my village , I lived here till I was 10 now we are back in the uk since 1990' I have great memories of my childhood days in this beautiful village , I used to love kites , cricket , marbles , nasheeds and all the fresh fruits n veg especilly saag , lol , my brother is best friend of legendray naat reader akram who is also a teacher in the same school we used to study at near the grave yard, big up dhandra and mannay wala chounk and bank stop where we used to live near babba guru saabs house , may allah give Janah to my late grandfather saadiq Ali and dost Muhammad who wer also from this village and shared and told me a lot about the history of this village like the legend rehemat Ali who named pakistan , may allah be pleased with him .   • Hey gguy'smy name is pardeep and my grandfather live in dhandra and also my dad born in this village. But when india and Pakistan get separate that tyme my grandfather moved to india .after that they never went back .and our hole families dream is some how we can see our home where my grandfather and father and hole family grownups.   • Hello Perdeep, I m Chaudhry Muhammad Nauman Safdar Bandesha. My family is the one who were settled here after u guys left . Chaudhry Remat Ali is from our family too. We came here Amritsir. None who the elders who made that journey have survived only the then kids are now amoung us . They cannit tell us much about the event but we have heard a lot from the elders . But noone amoung even them knows anything about the residents of dhandra before partition . We lived in ur houses and always wondered . I wish u can enlighten us . Hope you teply soon .   • AOA,,,It is very beautiful and village of Pakistan. Doctor Hafiz Muhammad AKRAM Pannu was also from same village. His life was exemplary for everyone,even he was not so prominent figure but he won the heart of peoples.HE left us at the age of 30.
