The Krape Park 1926 Seagrave Fire Truck was donated to the park district by the Freeport city fire department in 1959. The engine operated out of the old fire station #3 on Lincoln Blvd until it was decommissioned. The donation was the idea of Harry M. Weber, president of the park board at the time.
