Estate home designed c. 1910 in the Georgian Revival style by William Adams on 8 acres of land for Frederick L. Richards {financier}. Richards served as a prominent stockbroker of the time. He also commissioned Adams to design formal landscaping for the estate.
By 1936, he had relocated to 791 Park Avenue in New York City and his wife continued to live on the estate after being divorced. The main home was later demolished in 2003 and the land subdivided.
