The original building was designed by Bloch & Hesse in the Gothic Revival style. A 1970 expansion was designed by Armand Bartos & Associates. The interior of the sanctuary has a piece by Louise Nevelson entitled "The White Flame of Six Million" which encompasses the wall on the bimah and ark. She also designed the ner tamid which hangs from the ceiling.
