historic ruins, Corral for the animals
Largely collapsed now, this corral was built from hand-hewn bristlecone pine logs by Basque shepherd Jean Blanc, after whom Blanc's Bluff to the immediate east is named. The corral was still intact in a 1947 aerial photo but appeared to be collapsed by the mid-50s. Some of these logs can still be found scattered around.
