It was built in 1884 by Haji Gabil and Hasan, the son of Myashchyasalar.
The original name is the Mirzakerim Mosque.
It was renamed the Bala Baghman Mosque.
In Soviet times, it was given over to the library.
Now the large hall functions as a women's mosque. Small Hall - Library No. 20.
