Named for the silent comic star and director, Buster Keaton, who, during the early talkie era, was signed by MGM. Unfortunately for Buster, he lost control of his product and ended up a gag-man and side kick to Jimmy Durante. Keaton made a comeback in the 50s and 60s on both the big and small screens.
Keaton is often sited as one of the greatest directors of the silent era. According to Orson Welles, Keaton's "The General" was the greatest film of all time.
