This Lighthouse of Tagore Park is officially numbered as ARLHS WLOL IND 171 and used by the Mangalore Head Post Office 575001 Philatelic Bureau uses this Lighthouse for Permenant Pictorial Cancellation since 1989 which is a collectors' item. ILLW - India - 2010 utilised this Pictorial Cancellation for their Special Event Station VU0LH on their Special Cover
