Gorinchem (also known as Gorkum) is a fine example of a dutch city, with it's own city walls. The centre consists of old and monumental houses. Just south of the centre, there's this place (Losely translated; Outside the watergate) Where its inhabitants go to sport, picnic or just chill, expecialy in the summertime.
Nineteen Catholic priests and monks from this town were martyred in 1572 for refusing to renounce their faith.
