The ruined medieval church of Saint Dymna is located within the old graveyard of Kildalkey. The church and monastic community were founded in early times, and continued to exist in the High and Late Middle Ages. Today only some ruins remain. The old graveyard that has grown around the ruins includes graves from the 18th and 19th centuries.
