  Block 16: Block 16 is famous for Karachi Medical and Dental College. Block 16 has several aparmtent blocks especially along the main roads. One of them called Yousuf Plaza located in Block 16, is one of the largest apartment complexes in Pakistan.

  Block 16 is a great place to live and is truly the heart of central Karachi. With an overwhelming population of Muhajirs, Block 16 and F.B.Area, as a whole, is a great place where one can see different cultures of India melted into each other. Block 16 is also the biggest whole sale market in district central and people come to buy groceries, meat and vegetables from here. There is also a big automobile repair industry as well as Karachi Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases in this block.
