Notes: The use of the Art Deco style for this former car dealership reflected an effort to impress prospective buyers with state-of-the-art showroom design for the sale of new DeSotos and Plymouths. By the 1940s, Leeman Auto Company was one of the largest automobile dealers in the Rocky Mountain region. Owner Harry B. Leeman served as president of the Denver Automobile Dealers’ Association and organized the Leeman Industrial Bank, which he located near his car dealership. Today, the building is divided into several business suites.
