former Myers Industries closed in 2013. The Plant Road operation began as ITML (Innovation, Technology and Market Leadership). It was the brainchild of Kees Hensen and John Vaandering, with five employees. It was a tool shop manufacturing stamping dies. It grew to become a leader in the design, manufacturing and marketing of plastic containers and related products for the wholesale greenhouse industry across North America. At its height if was manufacturing more than 5,000 unique products using injection moulding, blow moulding thermoforming and fibre-mould processes. It had as many as 500 employees. The company was purchased by Myers Industries in 2007. In 2009, the new owner laid off half its workforce.
