  • Yes, and that treaty imposed by the Allies didn't respect the will of the Romanian nation in Hungary, and the borders set by the people in 1918 were moved into the Romanian territory, splitting the historical Romanian provinces of Maramures and Banat (only 2/3 of the Banat and only 1/3 of Maramures was granted to Romania). Also 3/4 of the Partium - an old Romanian land before the ariving of the Hungarians in the 9'th Century - was left to Hungary, even if the river Tisa was in fact the border from 1918 to 1920...
