house, Grade II Listed (UK), 19th century construction

Early C19 red brick house. Tiled roof with gabled ends. Brick dentil eaves course. Two storeys and attic. Three bays. The original windows replaced by modern casements in the original openings. The ground floor windows have been enlarged. Central round arched doorway with semi-circular fanlight with glazing bars and cornice on consoles. Later door. Brick end stacks. Richard Baxter 1615-91 the Presbyterian theologian is said to have lived in a house on this site.
