THIS IS A HISTORICAL VILLAGE, THIS VILLAGE WAS FOUNDED ABOUT 707 AD BY CHOUDHARY DHANRAJ SINGH JATRANA, THEY WERE FOUR BROTHERS FROM BIJWASAN (NEAR-DELHI) IN HARYANA, THIS VILLAGE HAS PLAYED A VERY IMPORTANT ROLE IN INDIAN FREEDOM STRUGGLE, AND WERE ALWAYS AGAINST MUGALS AND VICTORIA RULES. THIS WAS IMPORTANT CENTRE OF RECRUITMENT OF AZAD HIND FAUJ, AND IMPORTANT THIKANA OF FREEDOM-FIGHTER "SHAHAMAL".
