DSU's Tanner Amphitheater was built in 1976 by the Late, O.C. Tanner whose aim was strengthen the arts in Southern Utah by providing a world-class venue that could combine learning and the arts. Years later, we see those goals realized with the creation of the DSU Experential Learning programs coupled with DSU's summer Cultural Arts programming.
