The Miramar Greenery is a mulching and composting facility owned and maintained by the City of San Diego. Green waste such as landscaping trimmings, certain food wastes, and untreated, unpainted wood are collected throughout the City and brought to this location. The waste is then used to produce mulch, compost, and wood chips that are available to the public.
