  Targol Dam was constructed by Navbharat Construction Co. Of Baroda between 1969 to 1971. This place is very beautiful and it should be utilised as picnic spot. Jilla Panchayat should make good use of the Dam surroundings and develop the Targol Village. I have stayed on the dam site for two years and seen the dam completed. And in 2006 I visited the dam and was very pleased to see the whole area developed due to this Dam. Jilla Panchayat XEN Shri R.C. Patel, Dy.Eng.   District Panchayat in Baroda is still sleeping.They do not know how to create tourism.They should appoint committee and start development at district level.that will generate income and jobs.
