High school in the city regarded as the best educational option in this range, founded in 1986. Previously in this building was the "Jesús García Corona School " but in the year 1986 through the efforts of then headmaster Mr. Luis Alfredo Montaño Lagarda the 9th College of Bachelors of the State began to work, starting out teaching on 8th September 1986.

It has an enrollment of nearly 1,500 students. In recent years, the institution has received the Academic Excellence category (overall average above 95) according to the tests applied by the Educational Testing Institute of Sonora (IEEES).
