One of the most awesome beaches in England. Clean fine sand, shallow slope, excellent for all kinds of kite sports (buggying and surfing especially). Just watch out for the string tidal currents if you have children.

  • Assuming it's still there, it's not safe to attempt to walk out to the wreck. Even at lowest tide. There's signs everywhere, It's obviously dangerous, but everyone still tries it! But, as someone who has successfully made it to the wreck and back twice, I guess I should shut up. Seriously though, it did get a bit risky one time I went. Definitely don't try it with young ones.
