Built by Hobart Bosworth in 1913. The footprint was smaller and was expanded to this size through a collaboration with Oliver Morosco, a theater impresario, and was further extended in mid-1915 diwn to what was then 1st St,. and is now Beverly Blvd. In 1917 it became Reelart and Pallas Pictures divisions of Famous-Players-Lasky (Paramount Pictures).
