K-8 independent Jewish day school. Organized in 1972, Community Day moved in 2004 from the corner of Forbes and Denniston Avenues to its current site, the former St. Philomena Church and school. St. Philomena was founded by German Catholics in 1922. John T. Comes designed the original Gothic Revival buildings, which were expanded in later years.
