  Kawasan utara pulau ini menunjukkan kemunduran yang amat nyata dari segi pembangunan terutamanya kemudahan air paip bersih dan jalan raya berturap.   As a malaysian, i am sad to note that in this age people in P Bruit still getting their water supply from the rain. Setting up a small water treatment in the island wont cost a nuclear reactor. Imagine if a prolong dry spell happens, where is the nearest water supply? Those big big politically connected people in Sarawak are earning billions, my friend. But still, people in Bruit are drinking water from the sky. Surely people in Bruit has been voting for them for years or has been duped to vote for them.
