Work will soon start on duplicating this bridge. Currently theres a three lane bridge. Access for pedestrians and cyclists is poor.

  • One wonders why, a main arterial bridge was constructed with only three lanes as the local roads authority has, since the bridge was built, to change the lanes am and pm to suit the dominant traffic flow. This is a fine example of false economy.
