Opened on November 7, 1991, this is the first location in the city of St. Gallen. A second location was opened a few years later at the Merkatorium, located at 32 St. Leonard Street. This whole restaurant was redesigned and McCafé was added and opened in this building in mid-December 2008, making it the third location in the German-speaking part of Switzerland.
