In historical walls In addition to the surrounding historic scenery of the monastery district of St. Gallen, which is part of the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage, the Am Gallusplatz restaurant has a lot of history to offer. Once built as an episcopal horse stable, it has been in the service of the upscale gastronomy since 1974, and if the historic walls could speak, they would certainly have something to tell.

Hans and Diana's son Martin Sistek is now the owner of the restaurant since August 2014. His parents are now working at the takeout restaurant at the new curling center in St. Gallen's Lerchenfeld community.
