Bugyomaru (The Magistrate's Office) (Kumamoto)

This ground was named Bugyomaru, meaning the office of magistrate, when the Hosokawa Clan received the domain in 1632. Many retainers were working at this office, which consisted of four departments - each in charge of justice, finance, taxation and other administrative affairs.
