rangit window, which exposes underlying Gondwana Supergroup, overlied by precambrian Daling Group by Rangit-Tendong thrust. The box indicates a part of the window. The thrust contact lies very close to the Jorethang town. At the south of E-W flowing rivers there is Daling(chlorite schist, quartzite etc) whereas north of it lies Gondwana( sandstone, shale, phyllite, coal seams). Near the bridge there is a beautiful exposure of dropstone curving the foliations within slate.
