Built in 1973 as the Jerusalem Plaza Hotel. The Architect of the 22 story Jerusalem stone-clad tower was Mordechai Ben-Horin. It has approximately 270 rooms and 2 restaurants. It was operated by Canadian Pacific Hotels until 1986, when Sheraton Hotels took it over and it was renamed the Sheraton Jerusalem Plaza. Known as the Leonardo Plaza Hotel Jerusalem from 2008-2016. Then Herods Jerusalem Hotel from 2016-2017, then Leonardo Plaza from 2017-
