This is a hotel that obviously heralds from back in the day when the economy could support adventurous business ventures. All of the rooms are suite style accommodations with two separate rooms and in some the front room is actually furnished like a living room. Other rooms have beds in both rooms to maximize the possible occupancy. Walking around the property one will also discover what used to be a Set of bungalows meant I assume for the real big spenders. There is also a defunct bar and restaurant as well as the remains of what looks like it was once an amazing party venue centered around the pool where signs indicate that there used to be free champagne parties every Sunday and a regular bar (in addition to the one at the restaurant) and two different two pool houses with balconies overlooking the pool and courtyard area that bisects the whole place. Also if one looks carefully there are several busses and trailers in the now exclusive parking lots that bare signage suggesting that tours and hiking excursions were their forte.

Today the situation is very different as many homeless people have found their way into the rooms and there is a resident mission that provides food and services to whomever can afford to stay in the slightly upscale priced rooms. The management is friendly enough as long as you dont cause any trouble and the ambient social temperature is tolerable.
