The 34,800 tonne cargo vessel, MV Infinity, drifted aground on September 19th, 2016, after her anchor dragged. The shipwas sold for scrap last year, and anchored off Alang demolition sites, waiting for her slot. 10 Indian maintenance and watch crew remain on board. The vessel’s engine is inoperable, and the general condition of the hull is very poor.
