wind farm, invisible
Kingsbridge wind farm stretches for about 16 km north-to-south and lies between 2 and 7 km from the shore of Lake Huron, 'behind' Port Albert, in Huron County, Ontario, Canada. Commissioned in 2006, it consists of 22 Vestas 1.8MW wind turbines (21 model V80/1800, 1 model V90/1800) with a combined nominal capacity of 39.6 MW.
This wind farm was in the news in April 2013, when one of the turbines (T-19) caught fire in the middle of the night. It was replaced later that year with the newer model V90.
