Talawiet Development Organization, established and registered in 2005 as a national
voluntary organization at the federal Humanitarian Aid Commission (HAC) in Khartoum,
envisages engaging in education, especially for youth and women, providing and/or
enhancing sustainable livelihood means, improving of health conditions of the poor and,
enhancing and promoting staff skills and its institutional set-up, in order to meet the
perceived rural development challenges and, hence, effectively achieve the goal of
triggering a sustainable rural development in its target areas.
