wind farm, invisible
Grand Bend wind farm is located along the shore of Lake Huron, mostly in the Municipality of Bluewater, stretching northward for about 16 km from the village of Grand Bend, Ontario, Canada. Commissioned in 2016, it consists of 40 Siemens SWT-3.2-113 wind turbines (de-rated to 2.5MW) with a combined nominal capacity of 100 MW.
Note: Present (2016) images permit accurate placement of only 11 turbines (at the south end), which means the rest of the farm outline is a bit speculative (based on published maps).
