Kohila railway station is located in the town of the same name in Raplama rural municipality. The railway station has two low platforms, each 150 metres long. The distance from Balti Jaam to Kohila by rail is 33 km, the train journey takes 35–43 minutes, and 34 minutes by express train. The station has four branch lines, one of which leads to the former Kohila paper mill. All passenger trains heading southwest stop at Kohila. The station can also be used for loading and unloading goods onto and off trains. On 2 November 2012, a new visitor centre was opened in Kohila, replacing the old station building. It includes a waiting room, ticket office and station control centre.
