"The Kedge" was built for Josiah Cooke before 1876 and was originally located at the southeast corner of Old Beach Road and Gibbs Avenue. The house was relocated to its current spot before 1920. It was later owned by James Andrews Swan, John Nelson Borland, Jr., and Walter Scott Andrews. It is now rental apartments.
