  • Will the government do something about this lake. Because of this lake there is good ground water in the surrounding areas. If this lake dies, all will suffer. The lake has got a small island in the middle which is home to a variety of birds. Parakits have built hanging nest in these trees and they are a delight to watch. The sewage lines are dumping sewage and polluting the lake here. Help!!!, Help!!!, Help!!! the lake needs to be saved.
  • I am poud to be a citizen of this beautiful city Bangalore. It is the duty of everyone of us ,be in whichever part of the city we reside to give our little bit to retain the beauty of the city. So we as bangaloreans should volunteer, and with the aid of the government should take initiative to rejuvenate the dying lakes, one such being the Amruthahalli lake. Jai Hind!!
  • It is unfortunate to see that the amruthnalli lake is getting neglected which is under LDA now. This place has become the dumping ground and also been encroached. NO NEW LAKES ARE DEVELOPED IN BANGALORE AND NO ONE HAS RIGHT TO DESTROY THE EXISTING ONES. Concern authorities – pl wake up and don’t allow anyone to violate environmental norms. sajan n sanam
  • This is unfortunate that the concerned authorities are negelecting this lake.Lakes in Bangalore are getting encroached day by day.Even Amruthhalli lake has been encroached already. Concerned authorities should act on this ASAP and help the residents of Amruthhalli and Amruth Nagar with future groung water issue.
  • Amruthahalli lake is many years ago used for irrigation. Now lake has be neglected by KLDA. Some demolition dumping waste to lake. In lake many living animals are died due to releasing toxic to lake. Many scientist says, level of under ground water is decreasing year to year.
  • It is sad, when the entire city is facing water shortage; the authorities are looking other way rather than improving the lakes, which are already existing so that water table can improve.
  • lda has handed over the lake to bda, hope some action will be taken
