Here two mighty rivers of the region merge together. One is 'Amrutvahini' Pravara and other is Mula. Pravara originates near Ratangad in the vicinity of Kalsubai, thus bringing water Maharashtra's highest place and Mula brings water from rocky and dry mountains(like Harishchandragad) lying between Junnar and Sangamner. As normal Hindu practice, this place is also considered sacred and there is one Sangameshwar temple. These two rivers have played vital role in development of this part of Nagar district.
