This used to be the Cary Inn until it was shut down in March 2007. It was the unsafest place in Cary for years. The only murder in Cary in 2006 happened in this hotel. The Cary police had been trying to shut it down for years and the federal government finally stepped in to shut it down for good. Locals hope that with the hotel shut down Cary will be able to go a whole year without a murder like it used to.
