Labor and love of the members of the Agricultural Beekeeping Cooperative of Nikiti in Halkidiki underlies the success of the product ‘Honey SITHON”. The Cooperative, one of the largest in Europe, was established in 1952. The rare flora, bees can visit in the area, combined with the suitable climate constitutes one of the main reasons why honey Sithon is among the best honeys in Greece and Europe. The other reasons are: up-to-date infrastructure, high-level of bee-keeping skills, great love and tradition in honey. In the mid 80’s , the Cooperative took a step forward by building its own packaging plant. In 1987, the standardization of honey started, ushering in a new age!
