  • A fun island to visit by kayak. Keep a safe distance unless you enjoy bothering birds to the point where they begin to dive bomb you. Dont bother them, and dont get attacked, that is a great plan. This cute island has a real "little prince" feel to it, and the shallows around it are great for those willing to snorkel or scuba from a boat. As with a trip to Plum Island, currents can be strong and boat traffic is always a risk. A good kayak trip is to visit all three islands in the chain (or 4 if you are really fast) from Plum to little gull. Please do not land on the island, it is private property and all you wind up doing is bother the birds and get pooped on or worse.
