The Hyannis Transportation Center is Cape Cod's transportation hub. You can hop on an RTA bus to points on Cape Cod, a P & B bus to Boston, a Bonanza Bus to Providence or New York City, rent a car, grab a taxi, or take a short shuttle to the Steamship Authority's Docks in Hyannis or to the Barnstable County Airport.

Amtrak's Cape Codder seasonal passenger train stopped at Hyannis from June 29, 1986 until it was cancelled on September 2, 1996. The Bay Colony Railroad provides freight train service to Hyannis, although the Massachusetts Coastal is scheduled to take over on Jan. 1, 2008.
