  • porbandar,the birth place of Mahatma Gandhi is very famous for its violence;not non-violence;the only memory to Gandhiji's birth in this city is a statue and his ancestral home. sudama mandir is the main busstand;and is near sudama mandir. sudama is the childhood friend of Lord krishna, they studied together under the same guru. there is no other temple for sudama in India. the temple is old and not well maintained. no devotees; people sit and pass their time here. you can get transport of all sorts here, but no meter.local buses starts and end their journeys here.
