This is Dasana Katte, a mud and rock dam(katte) which may be more than 2500 years old, as per my assumption . In those days, it would have been built by Dasa or Dasyu community to store water for summer ; may be it is beginning of agriculture; it may be as old as Sindu Valley Culture!!(By Shashidhara)
