The oldest part dating the XVIIth century, the domain changed hands according to unions. The successive Lords of Kerlébert maintain relations and contract alliances with their neighbors of Kerousseau. Ligouffrin, Lords of Kerlébert in 1427, is related to Jubin de Kerousseau. The manor house belonged to the public prosecutor Henriot, among whom the son, Michel, murders his young wife in 1934. After the war, Paul Chenailler, director of the newspaper "La Liberté du Morbihan" and known under the name of "colonel Morice", leader of the morbihannaise resistance, lived its last years there.
