The area between the north and south branches of the Lincoln River in Mason County's Sherman and Victory townships has been called Hungry Hollow for many decades because the land in this area was not well suited for agriculture. My grandmother would always tell me "it's called Hungry Hollow because nobody can grow anything here and people starved". I have always been told that the north and south boundaries were the north and south branches of the Lincoln River along US-31, but have never been about to find out what the east and east boundaries are. So, I have approximated them on this map. If anybody knows the exact boundaries, please feel free to update the map and let everybody know.
