One of 475 examples of the F-16A Fighting Falcon built for both the US Air Force and foreign militaries, S/N 80-0573 is a Block 15A variant of the single-seat F-15A which served with several frontline USAF units before being transferred to the 3246th Test Wing at Eglin Air Force base. Operating with the 3246th as part of the Armament Development & Test Center for the remainder of its career, 80-0573 reached its airframe flight hour limit and was subsequently retired and preserved at the Air Force Armament Museum in September 1989.
